2020 was pretty much the year that the entire world turned upside down. I don’t know a single person that has not come out of it without some sort of testimony. Here is mine..
Just a few short months earlier we had moved from one city to another, completely unaware of what was to come.
I had quit my job to be a stay at home mom. Little did I know at the time God was paving the way for exactly the journey He had set out for my family and I.
The way He works will never ever cease to amaze me!
Covid hit and ALL of my kids were home with me!
Rock bottom
My patience was shot, I was extremely overwhelmed and my anxiety was at an all time high. Top it off with the fact that I was “terrified” of “the virus”. Boy how times have changed!
Life just felt like a complete disaster.
I “joke” that it was either alcoholism or Jesus. I look back and I’m so grateful it was the latter because the first option definitely wouldn’t have been a joke.
Eyes wide open
One of my sister’s friends started posting on Instagram about the truth of the “new age movement”. At that point, I was heavily involved in all of it.
Naturally, that led us both down a rabbit hole and long story short, ultimately brought us right to Jesus! We were both baptized a few short months later, at the same time by a good friend! Praise God!
P.s. you can check out her and her husbands growing ministry on Instagram!

Faith tested
I wish I could say it was all roses, daisies and history from there, but that would be a huge lie. My family life was completely flipped upside down.
When Jesus said, “For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household” in Matthew 10:35-36, He was NOT kidding!
I was born into the Roman Catholic Church as an undevout “follower”. I had never even met a Christian in my life! Crazy right?
This made it incredibly hard on all levels of my personal life and the persecution felt so real. I lost a lot of really close people in my life.
My marriage felt like it was falling apart, my extended family thought I was in some sort of a cult..
It was fun times…NOT!

Fighting in the Spirit
But, instead of backing away from my new found faith, I leaned more and more into the truth of Gods word.
My main focus was my husband, I knew that my job was not to fight WITH him but to fight FOR him! And boy did I take that seriously.
I prayed and fasted, fasted and prayed, cried out to our Lord on my face day after day and endured endless persecution. Most importantly I never lost hope. All I said over and over again was, “if God could save a sinner like me I know He can save my husband”.
Boy, did He deliver! Six months later, my husband was baptised! ALL glory and praise to God. Finally, it was all history from there.

My hope for you!
While I will never ever be perfect, I fall short every single day. I can trust, with certainty that my God is quite literally an awesome God. So full of great mercy, love and forgiveness, and for that fact I will honor and praise His name forever.
I yearn for you all to experience the same love (1 John 4:10), freedom (Galatians 5:1) and even rejoicing in persecution in Christ that Matthew 5:10-12, speaks of. I had never experienced this type of joy before regardless of everything else that was going on and I will forever be grateful for it.
Glory to God
The whole reason I love to cook [God]. My heart to be a homesteading mama [God]. All these dreams put on our hearts [God]. I will forever be thankful and give full praise, glory and honor where it is due to the Most High God, Yahuah the Almighty. I most certainly cannot do any of it without Him.
Now for the nitty gritty
With the way the world is going these days, it would probably be much easier for me to just leave my relationship with Jesus in the background. But seriously, how could I?
After all, “It is written, we are to go out to all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. Mark 16:15.
Since, I am more of a Moses than a Paul lol and the written word comes a lot easier to me than the spoken I will use what God has given me to do just that!
The Truth
We are ALL destined to die no one lives forever here on earth. It is my duty as a follower of Christ to make sure you hear the gospel before your time is up so you can use your God given free will to decide the fate of your salvation.
This world can be a horrible place, I know that we have all witnessed that one way or another.
This world is not our home!
To put it straight, its evil. God did not intended that for us. But, there is hope and God has a better plan.
The Gospel
We are all sinners, everything about us all is sinful you and me alike. No one is born without a sinful nature except Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:23 – “We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Our sin cannot go unpunished we have a fair and just God. We will all have to face the penalty for our individual choices. However, someone has paid our debt so we don’t have to die that second death His name is Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
We are wretched sinners. Even so, Jesus being perfect in all ways, still chose to take our sin, sacrifice himself and die for us so that we can live.
Romans 5:8 “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
The good news is that we don’t have to suffer this second death and you can live forever in perfection. All you have to do is believe on Jesus, ask Him to come into your heart and give your life to Him.
Romans 10:9-10 “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”
Pray and repent- The sinners prayer
Woohoo! You made it to the end. If you felt God tugging at your heart and you choose to give your life to Jesus it’s as simple as saying a prayer…
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and my sin deserves to be punished. Please forgive me for all of my sins known and unknown. I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for me and my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You, Jesus to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for the forgiveness and everlasting life I can now have through faith in Jesus. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Romans 10:13- “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Welcome to the fight, friend! 🙂

Fellowship
This is not a lonely journey! What a relief right? Fellowship, encouragement, praying and standing in the gap for each other is how we strengthen the body of Christ. Finding a solid local church to attend. You will be discipled in your new found faith in Christ. Grab a bible, pray and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and wisdom and dig into Gods amazing word!
Please feel free to reach out to me if you need any of those things I’d be glad to help you in any way I can!
If you have a testimony that you would like to share of your own I would love to compile them and feature them in a post. “There is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.” Luke 15:7.
